  • Celtic Breaks Records

    The Celtic carried the largest number of passengers ever to be carried on a White Star Line passenger ship in peacetime.

    That September, the Celtic carried 310 First class, 239 Second class and 2,408 Third class passengers - a total of 2,957 - between Liverpool and New York.
